At the 2022 WTT Youth Star Contender in Podgorica (MNE), Matej Haspel and Noah Hersel met the Japanese duo Ryuusei Kawakami/Tamito Watanabe in the semifinals (SF) of the Under 15 boys’ doubles event. Previously, the Germans beat the top seeded duo Hodina/Velichkov by 3:0. In the end, it was a very clear win for the better duo and that is it. The Germans should use this opportunity to see the current difference between them and the Asians and try to improve to close the gap as far as possible.
