I want to share the work of @ abortionfunds and @ sistersong_woc These two orgs have been in operation, fighting the good fight, for years. A way forward is for all of us to get involved in our local communities. Even if you’re safe say in California, what’s important is we help our sisters who are in states where they are not. @ abortionfunds is an organization that help remove the logistical, cultural, political and financial barriers around abortion. @ sistersong_woc do incredible work for women of color in Georgia and I was so inspired, listening to Monica Simpson speak yesterday. Thanks for the quote Monica. We have the immediate needs of women AND we have the midterms. Emily’s list put together a list of state and local candidates who are running.
