Pneumatosis Intestinalis

During colonoscopy, submucosal polypoid lesions in the splenic flexure had a bluish hue and were easily indented with gentle pressure. When the lesions were punctured, they became deflated, supporting the diagnosis of pneumatosis intestinalis. See the NEJM article:
