Hasta Alarippu composed & choreographed by Harinie Jeevitha Talam - Misrachapu Alarippu is one of the invocatory pieces in a Bharathanatyam Margam. Asamyuts Hastas (Single hand gestures) and Samyuta Hastas (Double hand gestures) are some of the basic lessons which a dancer learns. Hasta Alarippu is an attempt to incorporate the Asamyuta & Samyuta Hastas of Abhinaya Darpanam in the framework of an Alarippu.
