HUNT SLONEM : IN TWO WORLDS

A new Film by Eric Minh Swenson La Jolla, September 1st, 2017 – Madison Gallery and Modern Luxury Magazine of San Diego present In two Worlds, internationally celebrated artist Hunt Slonem’s fourth solo exhibition at Madison Gallery. Slonem, known for his neo-expressionist works featuring butterflies, bunnies and tropical birds, has catapulted into the collections of the world’s top museums, including the Guggenheim, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Whitney among others. His oeuvre has been described as grandiose, impressive and extravagant; all evident in his unique feeling for color and texture. These paintings are a celebration of the vibrancy of nature, as Hunt compares them to meditations or the visual equivalent of a opening reception will feature a book signing by the artist of his recent publication Birds along with fan favorite Bunnies. Since 1977, Hunt Slonem has had more than 350 exhibitions at prestigious galleries and museums internationally. His work is exhibited globally, in
