Concrete 3D printer prototype

At Lund University we developed a concrete 3D printer as master thesis project. We used MATLAB to process a CAD stl file and generate the RAPID code needed to control the ABB IRB 140 used. The concrete used is a special mixture of different ingredients, optimized to be stiff enough to handle many layers without changing its shape. The aim of the project was to print a chair like the one seen on the video and its further development goes towards printing street furniture. Song copyright SKRILLEX - Bangarang
