Introducing iHearTango. Eleonora Kalganova, Murat Erdemsel, Steve Morrall.
“All you have to do is listen“
will guide you to understand how to listen to Tango music and how you should be dancing.
Supported by lectures, short musical videos and video critique sessions.
iHearTango app was first imagined by Steve and Murat over a breakfast in Bramshaw, UK in November 2017.
On this video, Steve recorded the Monkey’s voice, also designed the iHearTango logo. Murat recorded the monkey’s expressions and wrote the instructions. He recorded and edited this video.
Amazing Eleonora Kalganova joined Murat dancing to the instructions during the Covid-19 pandemic, June 2020.
Very special thanks to these 2 friends, Eleonora Kalganova and Steve Morrall. Great friends and pleasure to work with. I especially am grateful for Eleonora’s offer to collaborate during the difficult pandemic times. She is the real figure united us in this video. Follow her links:

Steve has been a good old partner. He and I presented iHearTango for the first time in Lausanne, Switzerland. Always inspiration to work with him.
Exceptional artist and teacher. Follow his links here:

iHear Tango website is created with the intentions of offering tango musicality work. There will be short video instructions on the page for how to dance to tango songs properly. No jokes :) So you can improve your musicality before you go to the milongas or at home with convenience.
Also, Murat offers VIDEO CRITIQUE sessions that are already very popular. All you need is to email him a video of you dancing. You don’t have a video of you dancing? Why not? It is always educating to film yourself (with or without a partner) and watch. So you examine how you dance from a different angle, still with your own eyes. You will hate your dancing first time watching. :) We all went through that, it’s part of our training. And if you need an expert eye, just send it over to Murat via e-mail. He will examine your dance and will speak over your video with graphic annotations. Like tennis players examine their technique. Then you receive your 20-30 minutes long video and watch it whenever wherever, video stays with you privately saved on a server.

Last but not the least. There is a 1 hour long, private youtube video about “How to listen and understand Tango Music“. This is Murat’s everlasting musicality lecture called, “8 Elements of music every dancer needs to know“. This lecture was created 10 years ago and evolved to mature to it’s today’s state. Presented in many countries in Europe, many states in US and in Australia. Created by a dancer, and for the dancers. It was aired freely during the pandemic period on May 10, 2020 as a contribution to the suffering tango family. Now it is offered for a small fee.
