Aasta Hansteen

The Aasta Hansteen field in the Norwegian sea will open a new region for the export of gas to Europe. The field at 1 300 meters depth is planned to come on stream late 2018. The floating spar-platform is the largest in the world – and the first of its kind in Norway. In December the hull and topside were mated.
