He quits his apartment and gives up his job as a television journalist. Having just fallen in love, it is particularly difficult to say goodbye. How long he will not see his girlfriend and his family is uncertain. The departure into the unknown begins on May 19, 2015. In front of him is a route through the USA, Canada and Russia, among other places. He also crosses China, Mongolia, Pakistan, India and Iran. The journey contains not only spectacular moments and unforgettable experiences, but also immense dangers. Again and again it is helpful people who stand by Christian Vogel in supposedly hopeless situations and bring him closer to his goal. After all, a serious accident in India presents him with perhaps the greatest challenge of his life.
