Screening of Teodor Laco’s novel. Following the end of the war, the new generation of politicians whohave come to power are faced with starvation. The party secretary for the town, Martin Kreka, sets out to villages and leads campaigns for collecting the grain sold in the black market. The director in charge of this operation, who grinds the seed grains to ensure flour for bread, assists him. They are obliged to use also the master seeds owhich are treated with chemicals so might be potentially dangerous for the health.
