We started this record almost a year ago with the old ‘Catsidzu’ demo. Devonte wrote stunning lyrics and recorded vocals and originally it should’ve come out as a ‘Catsidzu Remix’ but I decided to turn it into a new original song. So I was changing it every day until I came up with this fat and powerful bassline and flute melody while I was in Montreal. It was so good and weird at the same time and both of us liked it.
