ALPPS Procedure

ALPPS (Associating Liver Partition and Portal vein ligation for Staged Hepatectomy) Procedure is a novel technique allowing surgeons to resect considerable portion of the liver without putting the patient at risk for liver failure. ALPPS procedure allows for up to 100% growth of the remnant liver between the first and second stage of the procedure. Here we demonstrate a case of colorectal liver metastases.
