Joel showcases a 1956 Gibson Les Paul Custom “Black Beauty“ in Ebony . This is the last year Gibson built the Les Paul with P90 pickups, in 1957 they switched to the PAF (patent applied for) Humbucker. This Les Paul is super clean, all original except it’s missing is the pick guard. This is one of the coolest guitars we’ve ever seen.
