Oktoberfest Heroes: Michi

This is Michi. He pours the beer at the Hofbräu-Festzelt. He does this all day, every day at Oktoberfest. He is our hero. 🍺 Note the foam in the beer.. it’s supposed to be at that level. By the time it gets to the table it will settle and the glasses will contain exactly 1 Litre of delicious Munich beer. 🍺 Check out more beer heroes here: Did you know that each year around 7 million Litres of beer are consumed at the Munich Oktoberfest? A staggering amount (pun intended). The all-time record of 7.5 million Litres was set in 2017 and matched in 2018. So raise a glass to the legends like Michi who keep the millions of visitors hydrated every year at the festival. Prost!
