ŠKODA KUSHAQ 2021 First Impressions/ Muscle Family SUV interior and exterior revealed

Skoda opened a factory in India in 2019 and started building cars there to avoid high customs taxes, and in 2021 launched a market-specific model: the Kushaq. The name Kushaq was derived from the Sanskrit word Kushak and meant emperor or king. Skoda tried to make this car a new champion in the segment, and steal the crown from the Hyundai Creta, its main competitor. It was developed and produced in India, based on the MQB-A0-IN platform, derived from the MQB platform used for many Volkswagen Group vehicles. It was shorter than the European Karoq and used a simple recipe: higher ground clearance, lots of standard equipment, good safety, and as low a price as possible. The exterior of the Kushaq left no doubt about its crossover origins. Its angular lines resemble the cubist trend followed by the Czech builder. At the front, the large bumper is decorated with a silver shield in its lower part. Depending on the trim level, Skoda installed LED headlights and LED taillights as standard across the range.
