ASMR Optometrist Eye Exam | Lens 1 or 2? | Phoropter Lens Exam

Welcome to the Cozy Hospital! You’re visiting our optometrist today because you are concerned you might need glasses. She will examine your eyes as well as the surrounding orbital structure and then perform some vision tests as she examines your lenses. ***IMPORTANT*** and I will put this in a pinned comment as well since not everyone reads descriptions: Youtube has now rolled it out that we no longer get to choose if we put an ad at the end of our videos. We have been told that by labeling our videos as sleep aids, that the algorithm will learn not to place post-roll ads on our content however as with all things on YT, this will probably take some time to get completely right. Please be patient with your ASMRtists as we work through this! One thing you can do to ensure that you don’t get a post-roll ad is to watch the ends of videos first to let the ads play before settling in to sleep/relax and then start over from the beginning. 0:00 Intro 0:18 Optometrist comes in, getting your history 5:38 Examining the areas around your eyes, face touching 10:57 Ophthalmoscope exam 14:34 Pen light swing test 16:30 Follow the light 17:34 Peripheral vision light test 19:31 Brightness test with pen light 22:43 How many fingers 24:12 Phoropter exam 36:32 Testing different lenses 44:32 Measuring your face for frames 51:00 Writing Please be aware that this video is intended for entertainment, relaxation, sleep aid and ASMR purposes. It is not meant to diagnose, treat, educate or accurately depict issues or illnesses or procedures. Many of the procedures are altered for ASMR purposes and because I’m not filming in an actual medical facility. (Some of them are completely fictional they just involve neat sounds.) Please consult your doctor or a reputable health care source if you have any health questions or concerns. ______________ What is ASMR? ASMR is a tingling sensation often felt on the scalp, neck, shoulders and back, although you may feel tingles in other places as well! ASMR is triggered by different types of stimuli. It can be personal attention, gentle touch, hand movements, crinkling, tapping sounds... there are lots of different types of ASMR triggers and everyone is different when it comes to what triggers their ASMR!
