Lord Mayor’s Show 1916 - a large party of wounded soldiers saw the procession from the Law Courts - Sir William Dunn. Various shots of the parade in London. Brass band marches up street. Then a large naval contingent. Jeep pulls a captured German Fokker aeroplane (without wings; which follow separately). Cannons pulled by teams of horses; hero soldiers ride in front of the guns. Bagpipes. Colonial contingent - Anzacs etc. Arrival of the new Lord Mayor; Sir William Dunn. The incredibly ornate state coach drives up street. Pan as it stops and the Lord Mayor and party get out; some men in military dress; others in the traditional ancient costumes; plumed arched hats; wigs; the giant sceptre etc. Pan as Lord M walks toward Law Courts wearing his black feathery hat.
