It details basic objectives of US foreign policy throughout the early 1960s through a compilation of first hand footage of American troops and aid workers across Asia, Latin America, Africa, and Europe as well as interviews with principal government officials. Produced for the United States Department of State by Vision Associates, Inc, this film was part of the Administration’s “soft power“ strategy during the Cold War era.
