Québec: Anti-riot officers arrest numerous covid protesters 3-20-2021

On Saturday March 20th 2021 a significant protest disrupted the streets of Montréal City in Québec, Canada along with numerous similar events worldwide. SPVM police officers donning anti-riot uniforms stood by in high numbers and proceeded to arrest multiple people. Fines that range from $1000 to $6000 were given to demonstrators who gathered and rallied against Covid-19 safety measures like wearing a mask, among others. A third wave is ongoing in what has started 14 months ago and has become one of the deadliest outbreaks in recent mankind history. The Covid-19 pandemic has left 2.7 million people dead across the world as of today.
