McKay’s Bunting / Островная пуночка / Plectrophenax hyperboreus

On St Matthew Island, Bering Sea, not far from the Russia/USA border. Breeds only on this small island and nearby Hall Island. This male is probably a 1st summer bird. Very few birders have ever visited this location and so thanks to John Pushock for organising the sea expedition that took us to such a unique place.
