EUROPEAN RAILWAYS in the 1990s Praha Hlavní Nádraží (Prague) (Czech Republic CD) on 20th March 1997 After a long overnight haul from Poland, we arrived at the Czech Capital of Prague or Praha. It was bitterly cold but well worth the sacrifice of a warm station buffet bar to capture on video as much as possible of this delightful and intense railway. The variety of colourful liveries cannot be matched any where else that I know of and the care provided by their drivers is apparent in the coverage of the Czech Railways being posted. Many types of Diesel, Electric, Multiple Units and Railcars are seen in the video. Anyone familiar with the area covered I hope will be immersed into the days and era of the material featured.
