Gender Pronouns: Using ‘THEY’, ‘THEIR’, and ‘THEM’ for a single person in English
Do you notice people sometimes use the plural pronouns THEY, THEM, and THEIR when talking about one person? In this lesson I’ll explain why this is done to avoid specifying male or female gender. I’ll give some example sentences to show how it works, and I’ll include a test that we can do together towards the end of the video.
