The Beginerz got together in 2001 thanks to their mutual friend Stanton Warrior Dom B. Ewen MacNeil AKA Def-e had previously been producing tracks for Low Pressings and Kidsound in between Djing in the UK and Internationally, whilst Ibi Tijani was working as a programmer for Faithless. Their very first production, Reckless Girl, brought them instant international success and became ’the talk of the town’(according to Norman Cook anyway) at the 2002 Miami Winter Music Conference. They set foot back in the UK
