Small Drums, big Room!

Playing my Pearl Midtown Drumkit in an Italian garage, where I just did a session with my mobile recording setup! The kit has small drumsizes but it sounds amazing: 16“ Bassdrum, 10“ Racktom, 13“ Standtom and a 13“ Snaredrum. I normally use it for gigs in small locations like Hotel bars. The Cymbals are Sabian HH Remaster: 15“Hats, 20“Crash as Ride, 18“Crash It is recorded with only 4 Mics on the Drumset and 2 in the room. My mobile recording setup is an Audient ASP880 preamp going into an Audient iD14 interface. ...and my laptop, of course ;) As Headphone Preamp I use a Presonus HP60. Mics: Shure Beta 52a (Bassdrum), Sm57 (Snare), Gefell m930 (Overheads), Oktava M012 (Room) No Eq, no compression, just levelled and panned!
