Orphaned bat enjoys a fruit smoothie

We have had a run of little people who have either tried to fly out from the colony when mum hasn’t returned or they have embarked on their maiden flight and found themselves in trouble. It takes time to develop street smarts and flight maneuverability and sadly, some juvis make fatal mistakes and they must be euthanased or they die alone in a tree. Recently rescued by Vanja, Miss Dot is only 9 weeks old, very underweight and she was found on the ground. Now in with the other juvis in the flight aviary, I am support feeding little Dot as she has yet to learn about fruit but she is putting on weight and she has assimilated very well with the other littlies.
