Krowos - Verbum Luciferi (Reviu)

KROWOS - Verbum Luciferi (2017) Hah, since I’ve been infected by the Viking/Folk virus then not much BM stuffs have been running in my player recently hahaa.. Damn, its been quite long times actually I’ve never heard any BM stuffs with an old skool feeling like this one. Very much epic, grim and majestic. Verbum Luciferi actually the 2nd album of Krowos the Italian Luciferian blackhordes from Catania, Sicily. It was unleashed by Nigredo Rec. By the way thx so much to Katia for this interesting stuff. Ok, what do we have in this album? Yes indeed, we have 6 raw, grimm and depressive trax which will brings you to the neverending darkness. Hah, sometimes I can feel the pain and torture that the vox trying to expressed. Huh, it makes the sounds more wicked with the clean harmony vox as the background. Very well, I was quite satisfied by this album mostly when the music are very much old skool to my taste. Its really make my mind flying back to the greater days of Raw BM era Mayhem, Burzum, Darkthrone (old) just to name a few. Anyway one things for sure is I would like Krowos to improve on the screaming parts which I think a bit awkward. Overall I would say Verbum Luciferi seems very much entertaining with lots of banging parts in between the fast speeding riffs. I think their creativity to combined depressive and occult influenced really give them a good result to create the catchiness and classic touch. Hmm.. the sounds prod quite rawer and rusty yet still good and I think it would be more interesting if they can get a good studio. Ok, lets wait their next album then we can see how far they can improve and progress in their musical composition.
