Second full-length release by this Washington based project with Armenian origins, solely headed by S.G., and 10 years following its debut, “Below the Sun“. Excellent cold and blizzard-like Atmospheric Black Metal, clearly heavily inspired by Paysage d’Hiver and Blazebirth Hall legends like Forest and Branikald, not only in the freezing minimalism of the riffs, but also clearly in the more Folk-y and Ambient-ish passages such as the track “Collapse“. A meditation in loss and sorrow, weaving through the fabric of time and eternity of death, also with a rather negativist take and cadence which brings to mind projects like Velvet Cacoon as well. Another excellent release, out on tape via Blood Coloured Beast.
