Опубликовано: 28 янв. 2017 г. We are excited to announce the arrival of a male serval kitten born to parents, Zola and Zemba, on December 2nd, 2016 after a 70 day gestation. Blind at birth, the kitten weighed nearly 8.5 ounces. He began to open his eyes after 10 days. Zola and her kitten spent a month inside a private den while the kitten developed a relationship with his mom and grew stronger. The kitten is now on exhibit with his parents. Mother and baby are doing well. The serval is a small, slender cat native to Africa. They have the largest ears and longest legs for its body size of any cat. Our serval exhibit opened in late August 2016. Zemba and Zola are both two years old.
