Music has a magical power to uplift, to heal, and to project a wholesome promise. At a recent event hosted by Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society (RCCS), Shira Choir skillfully employed their vocal talents to pull all these strings together in honor of RCCS and the families the organization serves. Mah Tishtoichachi is a brand new composition by world-renowned Jewish hitmaker and singer, Meshilem Greenberger from Israel. Rendered in layered acapella, the song shines as a duet, with new and upcoming vocalist Moshe Hertzel and child soloist Avrum Chaim Green fronting the stage, and the harmonious, rhythmical vocals of Shira Choir bringing up the rear. For RCCS and the families in attendance, the eternal words of the song were meaningfully fitted to the event: “Why are you downcast, my soul, and [why are you] disturbed on my account? Hope to God!
