I’m literally in the middle of midterms and I’m posting this because I know damn well if I don’t now, it will distract me and I won’t focus. I finished this Gale song about a week or two ago. It was the first character song I’d written after Astarion’s. While I don’t feel as deep a connection to Gale as I do to the former, his story is very (Water)deep and Tim Downie absolutely stuns ;-; Spoilers for an ending, but Gale’s decision at the final boss is absolutely heart wrenching and delivered so well! Had me tearing up the whole time. I could truly see the infinite possibilities in how he described them, and that very line he repeats quite a few times in game, is what inspired this song.
