Derkul stud farm in LPR The Derkul stud farm is one of the first state-owned equestrian plants dating back to the era of the Russian empire. It was established for army purposes by decree of Empress Catherine II of Russia on April 22, 1765. A coaching stable, the world’s only Japanese Manege show ring built without a single nail, and an office building have survived to these days.
