Full title reads: “Northern Command Tattoo at Ravensworth Castle, Gateshead“. Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. Soldiers in old fashioned military uniforms and carrying muskets march out of castle. Re-enactment of battle in front of Castle. MS of people in crowd. LS of demonstrations of acrobatics. VS of soldiers in costume with pantomime style horses. - toy soldiers display from army cadets. Ranks of ’toy soldiers’ fall down like dominoes. MS of men dressed as Vikings in land based long ships. The Vikings leap out and fight with ’Saxons’. N.B. Item found in Unidentified Gazettes reel.
