Prince Chichibu (1926)

Location of events is unknown, somewhere in England. Title: “Stag Lane Aerodrome. Prince Chichibu. Crown Prince of Japan enjoys his first ’joy ride’.“ M/S of the Japanese Prince standing by the tail of an aeroplane, two men help him into a flying helmet and goggles. M/S of the Prince climbing into the front seat of an aeroplane, one of the men secures the Prince’s safety harness before climbing into the back seat to pilot the plane. M/S of the plane driving over a field, away from the camera, to take off (shot changes before plane is airborne. M/S of the Prince and the pilot climbing out of the plane once it has landed, two men are on hand to assist the Prince. The Prince then talks to a group of men and one woman gathered around the plane, the Prince grins broadly as he takes off his helmet. M/S of the group; the pilot is showing the Prince a map.
