Our Self Reliance Family Garden 2 Years Later, Buying Worms for Vermicomposting

Two years after the clearing trees to plant a vegetable garden and fruit orchard at the beginning of the pandemic, the garden is finally ready for full production and put us well on our way to food security and self reliance. I buy 5,000 red wiggler worms and release them in the garden to help improve the soil. A few more infrastructure projects in the garden, including finishing the root cellar before harvest season and building a potting shed for storage and seed starting, my girls will take over management of the garden so I can focus more of my time and energy on completing the rest of the wilderness homestead. I will be working alongside my daughter Emily Aisling to finish these projects and she will be documenting them on her channel so please click on this link to follow along there.
