UGears Hurdy-Gurdy - Assembly and Demonstration

I’ll admit, I felt a little like Stradivari as I built this amazing model kit. The level of detail in these laser-cut wooden pieces is surprising, and the fact that it all goes together perfectly, without glue, is truly satisfying. After about five hours, I had a fully functioning hurdy-gurdy that I could play, albeit not very well. Playing this rustic medieval instrument evokes the sound of wandering minstrels in an ancient land. That is, if those wandering minstrels were, in fact, a pair of feral cats in heat.
