Japan’s Princess Yoko Hospitalized w/ Pneumonia After Getting Covid-19

Princess Yoko of Japan has developed pneumonia after testing positive for Covid-19. The Imperial Household agency said the 38-year-old royal tested positive for coronvirus last Tuesday after having a sore throat the day prior. The princess is currently at the University of Tokyo Hospital for treatment. She is the first member of the Imperial House of Japan to test positive for Covid. Her sister Princess Akkiko saw her several days before and tested negative for the virus.
