This one was quite a difficult pun-filled song. Not surprised it’s gone untranslated for a whole year. In this song, we have Wakasagihime embracing her sashimi identity to compensate for her lack of popularity. Every verse contains a pun involving the character 身 (mi), which means body, meat or self... Sashimi itself means “pierced body (of a fish)“. Sagi means fraud in Japanese, and I think sagi-sagi has a feeling similar to like “liar liar“. By the way, Wakasagi Tempura is actually pretty tasty.
