156: Sideshow Dinosauria Gastonia Statue Revisit

Here it is… My final 100 Sideshow Dinosauria revisit! And appropriately so, because this is the last Sideshow Dinosauria I purchased. Gastonia is one impressive representation of a nodosaurid ankylosaur, and Sideshow has done it due justice. The sculpt, detail, texturing, paint applications… everything is so highly balanced in quality that there’s nothing too superlative I can say about it. The keratinous and skin detailing is Sideshow quality of course, but what tops it off for me as well is the colour scheme. Such a beautiful yet subdued palette of greens and earth grays cap off what is one of Sideshow’s best. It’s such a pleasure to revisit, and to present a much more accurate representation of this glorious statue than my original.
