Inspired by EQD “Life pedal“. Classic fat distortion with the 8 different clipping options and a blendable old style analog octave up. Octave section is a classic circuit based on two matched russian germanium diodes. Turn “Blend” knob clockwise to transform your distortion into a Univox “Super Fuzz“ or even EQD “Tentacle”. Distortion based on a Proco Rat pedal with the tantalum caps in a filter section and the 8-way clipping switch: No – Op Amp overdrive without clipping; maximum volume As – classic asymmetrical clipping S – symmetrical clipping; classic Rat sound G – symmetrical clipping based on two russian germanium diodes; dirty fuzz sound L – LED clipping; wide open distortion Sc – schottky diodes clipping; compressed and thick distortion Z – zener diodes clipping; minimum compress – maximum volume M – mosfet clipping; smooth distortion with a soft high frequency response
