River Traffic (1960-1969)

Unissued / unused material - dates and locations may be unclear / unknown. Colour. C/U of three men, two of whom are wearing headphones. They are possibly working in some kind of control centre for river traffic. One of the three talks into a microphone or some kind of recording device. C/U of a map. It seems to be the map of a river. In bottom left hand corner text reads: Northforeland Radio - Advance Warning MSCS (?). Camera pans across the map. One of the parts focussed on has the name “Broadness Point“. The map seems to have been painted on to a blackboard and the men who work in the centre write things on a glass surface placed over the map with coloured crayons. There is also information on the board as to the time of sunset and sunrise. Exterior scenes of ferries moving across a stretch of water. The Woolwich Ferry (?). One of the ferries is called Ernest Bevin and another is John Burns. High angle shots of tug boats moving through water. High angle shots of vehicles on board
