Deploying Arenadata DB on offline bare-metal with ADCM
This short demo shows the process of fully offline deploying Arenadata DB on bare-metal server.
Offline installation of data services may be a critical issue for secured enterprises, where there is no access to the Internet from the servers. ADCM provides fully automated offline installation process for ADB (Greenplum), ADS (Kafka, NiFi), ADH (Hadoop stack).
Arenadata Cluster Manager (ADCM) simplifies deploying and management of data services on premise, in private or public clouds. By splitting data landscape on two independent management layers – infrastructure layer and application layer – your platform becomes flexible, predictable and repeatable.
ADCM is a modular system – you can add specific modules to support new applications, containers and cloud providers. You can develop your own modules to support your specific applications and proprietary systems.
ADCM comes with open powerful REST API – you can easily integrate ADCM with your infrastructure.
Arenadata Database (ADB) is a distributed database based on using MPP (massively parallel processing) principle. It takes its origin from Pivotal’s Greenplum database.
ADB suits applications, where there is a large amount of semi-structured and unstructured data that needs to be stored and analyzed. Using processing power of multiple servers (from two to hundreds), front-end query optimizer and flexible data backup system, ADB allows unprecedented level of performance and reliability.
