Svanfridur — What’s Hidden There? 1972 (Iceland, Heavy Progressive Rock) Full Album
The only album by a band from Iceland. It was recorded in London at the “Background” studio (a division of “Hi-Note Music”) within a week and released several dozen records. The guitarist is a woman, the vocalist is a man, they sing in English, play hard proto-prog along with symphonic rock and progressive metal (mostly played by guest multi-instrumentalist Sigurdur R. Johnsson, without him it would just be hard rock).
