Russian MDP-01 “Termite” UAV Armed with Deadly Advanced S-8L Missile Destroys Target 6,000 Meters

Russia has started serial production of the “Termite” unmanned attack helicopter, a new development capable of deploying precision-guided laser-targeted missiles. A helicopter-type drone, the MDP-01 “Termite” UAV is designed to carry a semi-active laser-guided S-8L guided missile with a fragmentation-explosive charge that has a range of up to 6 kilometers. This weaponry serves as an analog of the APKWS but exhibits a degree of refinement that is much higher compared to basic guided rocket projectiles.
