Yang Zheng Duo was born in 1926 in Beijing, is the third son of Yang Chengfu (Yang Chengfu had 4 sons in total - Yang Zhenming (Shouzhong), Yang Zhenji, Yang Zheng Duo and Yang Zhenguo). From childhood, he studied the family martial art with his father, later studied with his older brother. In 1951 he moved to Shanxi Province. He devoted many years to spreading Taijiquan of the Yang family. In 1979 and 1980 he took part in the All-China Wushu Experience Exchange Festivals. In 1982, he founded the Shanxi Taijiquan Association and became its chairman. In 1983 he performed at wushu festivals in Shanghai and Nanjing, in 1984 - in Wuhan. He is the honorary chairman of the All-China Wushu Association. He went to teach in France, in the USA, in Singapore.
