155: PNSO Livyatan (Requena 2021) Review

I absolutely can’t believe that finally, someone made a Livyatan! This monstrous extinct raptorial sperm whale was long overdue, yet each time, what did we get from all the companies? Another Megalodon! With their past offerings, I’m not surprised PNSO was finally the one to give us a relatively obscure prehistoric animal. This sperm whale with both upper and lower dentition is well sculpted, simply but realistically painted, and save for one flaw, is really a great representation of a long-awaited genus. I am really looking forward to the inevitable plesiosauroid, but meanwhile I will gratefully have this leviathan on the shelf as a marker for many more great non-dinosaurs to come!
