Crescent Venus 月牙狀金星西沉

This video has been on the homepage of SpaceWeather January 6, 2022 EarthSky Today’s Image (Jan 5, 2022): ------------------------------------- VENUS HAS TURNED INTO A RAINBOW: Like the Moon, Venus has phases, and right now it is a crescent. Moreover, it is a rainbow crescent. What’s happening? Earth’s atmosphere acts like a prism, splitting the light of Venus into primary colors. A tiny red Venus, blue Venus and green Venus are moving through the sky in tandem--a celestial rainbow. --------------------------------------------------- I am so happy today. I photographed the superfine crescent-shaped Venus sinking! The film is how it sinks to the west. Venus, which is very close to the sun recently, has a very thin crescent shape and it has almost reached the maximum observable diameter (1’02“). So through binoculars we can easily see the small but obvious crescent Venus! It’s so beautiful! It’s so beautiful!
