The Hebrew Symphony is a powerful wake-up call for the times we are in, affecting each and everyone directly. This emotional confrontation facilitated an exciting and personal work created by the ensemble’s musical director, Leat Sabbah. The lyrics are written as a conveyance of a message in the style of the first prophets, who through revelation, guide man to readiness by discovering the right way of life.
Lyrics:
In ancient text
There are writings of
a future, our future
In ancient text
The prophet has spoken of
But how long, Oh how long
The time has come
the time is now
unlike any other time
Wake up my beloved
look at the times, look at the signs
Wake up my beloved
look at the times, look at the signs
Time to be strong
oh and to be brave
and to know, just to know
A time to choose
to take a stance, but will you
will you fight the good fight
Wake up my beloved
you’ve slept so long
Wake up my beloved
look at the times, look at the signs
Wake up my beloved
you’ve slept so long
There’s a fight for our souls
to take us down, to drive out the light
There is a choice, we all must make
to follow the path, the path to ligh
If you wait to be saved
you’ll be dead like the others
If you call on the King
When you call on the King
You’ll be saved
Wake up my beloved
time to be strong, time to be brave
Wake up my beloved
open your eyes to who you are
Wake up my beloved
time to take up the fight
Wake up my beloved
look at the times, look at the signs
Wake up my beloved
you know my voice, you know my call
Wake up my beloved
The Great I Am has called your name
the time is now, the time is now
