Twinform (1958)

New Southgate, London. C/U of the back of model, June Jarvis’ head. Another older woman, Mrs. Margaret Westall is attaching a bandage to June’s neck. M/S of June and Margaret from the front. Margaret is wrapping June in a muslin bandage which she is holding in place with brown tape. C/U of Margaret’s hand tearing off a piece of tape from a dispenser. Various shots of Margaret adding more and more tape to June’s shoulders. C/U of Margaret’s face. The narrator explains that Margaret is using bandages and brown tape to make a mould of June’s body - ’twinform’ - which she can use as a dressmaking dummy when making her own clothes. M/S of June and Margaret. Margaret asks June to turn around. June’s shoulders and chest are almost completely covered with brown tape. Tilt down to show the rest of June’s body and legs.
