Alaripu Bharatanatyam dancer Leela Samson

Indian classical dancer Leela Samson performs Alarippu Bharatanatyam dance. The word Alarippu means “a flowering bud.“ It is an innovatory piece meaning it is performed before a dancer begins a whole performance.
