Oval rope mat

In this video I demonstrate how I make an oval rope mat. This mat looks like the ABoK 2274, but it is tied in my own way. I used about 32 feet of 1/4 inch hemp rope for this project. All in all, this is one of my favorite mats. Works well as a door mat or as a hot pad under hot dishes on the table.
